To be Judged

To judge a person by the way they act, walk, and move is wrong. Charlie Gordon got judged for the way he acted because he had a birth defect. Charlie was constantly compared to other children and judged because he was different. Charlie doesn't have a lot of friends because he has a disability and is judged because of it. When Charlie says "smart" people have more friends, he means to say that people without disabilities can make friends better and have more friends. Disabled people have different challenges than people who don't have disabilities. Challenges that Charlie may have on a daily basis may pertain to social life and friends. Because Charlie has a disability, people judge him and don't want to become his friend. People might not want to be friends with him because they don't want to be judged themselves for being around him. Instead of judging someone for there looks, people should get to know people and know them for their personality instead of what they look like. It is not fair to be compared to other people without mental disabilities because it will make him look more stupid. He has to face more challenges than normal "smart" people because he has to think more because of his disability. It is not fair for mentally challenged people to be judged because it is not their fault that they have a birth defect. Charlie was being judged for being different, don't be that person judging someone who's different
